A bistable electronic pulse relay allows lighting or other equipment to be turned on or off from several different points using parallel-connected momentary (bell) control switches.

An important difference between this relay and its competitors is its safer use. There is no need to supply 220/230 V to the relay inputs via the button - just short the contacts of the button. This eliminates the risk of electric shock to the user when the button is pressed
