The protection of personal data is very important to us. The purpose of this document is to inform you about all the information regarding the processing of your personal data when using the online store pelek.eu. — Online store: the online store operated by the controller under the name Principal Elektrik s.r.o. through pelek.eu;

1. Basic data

We process the following personal data about you:
— first name and last name, contact details (especially email, phone number), address;
— billing and banking information (data necessary for accounting);
— information that you provide to us during communication (inquiries, responses, messages).
We do not process special categories of personal data.
2. For what purpose and for what reason do we process personal data
2.1 Fulfillment of the contractual relationship and related legal obligations. The reason for processing personal data is the fulfillment of the purchase contract and related obligations (delivery of goods, accounting, handling complaints, or exercising the right to return goods within the deadline). We process your first name, last name, contact details (address, email, phone), and possibly billing information. The data is processed for the duration of the contractual relationship and subsequently 4 years after its termination (for the protection of our legal interests). We archive accounting and tax documents by law for up to 10 years from the end of the tax period in which the fulfillment occurred. If necessary for delivery and payment, personal data may be transferred to the carrier or bank.
2.2 Card payment. If you enter payment card details, we do not have direct access to them; the data is processed by the payment service provider that will carry out the payment.
2.3 Order processing. To process the order, we cooperate with other service providers (carriers, etc.), to whom we only transfer data for the purpose of fulfilling the contract.
2.4 Communication with customer support, complaints, or other inquiries. If you contact us, we process your personal data based on consent to handle the inquiry or complaint. Processed data: first name, last name, phone, email, order details. Closed inquiries and complaints are deleted no later than 4 years after resolution.
2.5 Reviews. The evaluations of our customers are important to us. If you give us consent, we will publish your review of the product or service. We process your first name, last name, email, order details, and, with explicit consent, also photographs or data provided in the text of the review. We retain reviews for the duration of consent, for a maximum of 5 years.
2.6 Customer evaluations. You can share experiences and evaluate products. We may use other processors for evaluation.
2.7 Legal obligations. We may transfer personal data to other entities if required by law or a public authority.
2.8 Age restrictions. For goods with age limits, we verify the attainment of the relevant age through an age verification service.
2.9 Digital products. If it is necessary to update goods with digital elements, we process data provided at the time of ordering.
3. Communication
3.1 Emails we may send. In the context of selling our products or services, we may send customers messages regarding:
3.1.1 delivery notifications, information about changes in delivery dates,
3.1.2 tax documents, invoices,
3.1.3 provision of a label for the return of goods.
4. Processors
Your personal data may be transferred to our business partners (processors) or other persons if required by law.
We only use verified processors with a contractual obligation of confidentiality, who provide the same guarantees of data protection according to GDPR and Czech legal regulations. All our processors are based in the EU or in countries considered safe, or with standard contractual clauses according to Article 46 GDPR.

5. What rights do you have?
Where to contact us? Write to us at the email shop@pelek.eu or at the address of our registered office.
When will we respond? We will respond no later than one month. If providing the information would compromise the privacy of third parties or be unreasonable, we cannot comply with the request. For repeated requests, a reasonable fee for a copy of the data may be charged.
— Right to access. Confirmation of whether we process your data, information about the purpose, categories of data, recipients, retention period, and the existence of other rights.
— Right to rectification. Request the correction of inaccurate data.
— Right to erasure. If there is no longer a reason to process the data, we will delete or anonymize the data.
— Right to restriction of processing. If you believe that we are processing data incorrectly – please let us know.
— Right to be informed about rectification or erasure. If you make a request, we will inform you of the outcome, unless it is not possible (e.g., non-functional email address).
— Right to data portability. Upon your request, we can transfer your data in a structured, machine-readable format to another controller.
— Right to object. If we process data on the basis of legitimate interest (e.g., newsletter), you can object; if we prove your claim, we will cease processing.
— Right to withdraw consent. You can withdraw your consent to processing for marketing purposes at any time.
— Automated decision-making including profiling. You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing. We do not perform profiling.
