Heating elements are used to maintain temperature and reduce humidity levels in electrical panels, automation cabinets, ATMs, payment terminals, and other electronic devices. Since Soviet times, bulbs have been used for these purposes - but it is clear that this method does not ensure compliance with modern stringent requirements for electrical equipment and electronics. Currently, almost all manufacturers are transitioning to PTC heaters, which provide not only heating but also guarantee safety and operational lifespan.

All heaters are equipped with electronic surface overheat protection, which provides an additional guarantee of safe operation.

Given the high demands for Plastim's cabinet heaters, maximum attention has been paid to the selection of component suppliers. For example, the supplier of the PTC heating elements is the same as that of Schneider Electric, and the terminal block for the electrical connection of all parts is manufactured by the Italian company KORNER on special order. The plastic from which this block is made has a very important property: when heated, it not only retains its shape and does not deform, but also does not emit any odors, and therefore does not release any harmful carcinogenic substances into the atmosphere. Agree that this approach to supplier selection favorably distinguishes the high-quality Plastim heaters from cheap Chinese counterparts.

To ensure automatic temperature maintenance for this heater, you will need either a simple bimetal thermostat or a more complex temperature controller. Both devices can be purchased on our website.
