for the sale of goods through the online store operated at pelek.eu under the name PELEK Distribution s.r.o.
The protection of personal data is very important to us. The purpose of this document is to provide you with all information concerning the processing of your personal data when using the online store pelek.eu. — Online store: an online store operated by the controller under the name PELEK Distribution s.r.o. through pelek.eu;

1. Basic information
Your personal data are collected through the online store pelek.eu and/or directly by us. In both cases, we may act as the data controller. If your personal data are processed on pelek.eu, please read their personal data processing policy (https://pelek.eu/cs/pages/privacy-policy-1 ).
We process the following personal data about you:
— first name and surname, contact details (in particular email and telephone number), address;
— billing and bank details (data necessary for accounting);
— information you provide to us as part of communication (questions, answers, messages).
We do not process special categories of personal data.
2. For what purpose and on what grounds do we process personal data
2.1 Performance of the contractual relationship and related legal obligations. The purpose of processing personal data is to perform the purchase agreement and related obligations (delivery of goods, accounting, handling a complaint, or exercising the right to return goods within the applicable period). We process your first name, surname, contact details (address, email, telephone), and, where applicable, billing details. The data are processed for the duration of the contractual relationship and subsequently for 4 years after its termination (to protect our legal interests). We archive accounting and tax documents by law for up to 10 years from the end of the tax period in which the transaction took place. Where necessary for delivery and payment, personal data may be provided to the carrier or bank.
2.2 Card payment. If you enter your payment card details, we do not have direct access to them; the data is processed by the payment service provider that processes the payment.
2.3 Order fulfillment. To fulfill orders, we cooperate with other service providers (carriers and others), to whom we transfer data only for the purpose of performing the contract.
2.4 Communication with customer support, complaints, or other inquiries. If you contact us, we process your personal data on the basis of consent to handle your inquiry or complaint. Data processed: first name, last name, telephone number, email address, order details. Resolved inquiries and complaints are deleted no later than 4 years after they have been handled.
2.5 Reviews. Our customers' reviews are important to us. If you give us your consent, we will publish your review of a product or service. We process your first name, last name, email address, order details, and, with your explicit consent, photographs or information provided in the review text. We retain reviews for the duration of your consent, up to a maximum of 5 years.
2.6 Customer ratings. You can share your experiences and rate products. We may use other processors for evaluation.
2.7 Legal obligations. We may transfer personal data to other entities if required by law or a public authority.
2.8 Age restrictions. For goods subject to an age limit, we verify that the relevant age has been reached through an age-verification service.
2.9 Digital products. If it is necessary to update goods with digital elements, we process the data provided when placing the order.
3. Communication
3.1 Emails we may send. In connection with the sale of our products or services, we may send customers messages concerning:
3.1.1 delivery notifications and information about a change to the delivery date,
3.1.2 tax documents and invoices,
3.1.3 provision of a return label.
4. Processors
Your personal data may be transferred to our business partners (processors) or other persons if required by law.
We use only verified processors with a contractual confidentiality obligation who provide the same data protection guarantees under the GDPR and Czech law. All our processors are based in the EU or in countries considered safe, or operate under standard contractual clauses pursuant to Article 46 of the GDPR.

5. What are your rights?
How can you contact us? Write to us at info@pelek.eu or at our registered office address.
When will we respond? We will respond within one month at the latest. If providing the information would jeopardize the privacy of third parties or would be disproportionate, we cannot comply with the request. A reasonable fee for copying the data may be charged for repeated requests.
— Right of access. Confirmation as to whether we process your data, information about the purpose, data categories, recipients, retention period, and the existence of other rights.
— Right to rectification. You may request the correction of inaccurate data.
— Right to erasure. If there is no longer a reason to continue processing the data, we will delete or anonymize it.
— Right to restriction of processing. If you believe that we are processing the data incorrectly, please let us know.
— Right to be informed about rectification or erasure. If you submit a request, we will inform you of the outcome unless this is not possible (e.g., an invalid email address).
— Right to data portability. At your request, we may transfer your data to another controller in a structured, machine-readable format.
— Right to object. If we process data on the basis of a legitimate interest (e.g., a newsletter), you may object; if we establish that your claim is justified, we will stop the processing.
— Right to withdraw consent. You may withdraw your consent to processing for marketing purposes at any time.
— Automated decision-making, including profiling. You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing. We do not carry out profiling.
