Control
single-phase submersible pump unit up to 4 kW, 150 V–270 V AC, 30 A,
Tense Code:
MDK-03 Electrodes
(liquid level sensors) are not included
New
the MDK-03 control unit from Tense is designed to protect
single-phase submersible pumps against all possible issues that may arise
during operation, including overvoltage and current surges, lack of water in the well
or well and pump overload. Built-in functions also allow monitoring
the level of the tank, set time delays for emergencies,
monitor surge currents and remotely turn the system on and off.

Before
please read the section "Important!" when connecting the device. Connect the sensors and
phase conductor of the pump to the device according to the wiring diagram provided in the data
sheet and then connect the power supply. Check if the factory setting of the device
corresponds to the operating parameters of your pump. If necessary, it can be changed
the following parameters:
(P1) –
Maximum allowable voltage (230…270 V, factory setting 245 V)
(P2) –
Maximum allowable current (1…20 A, factory setting 5 A)
(P3) –
Minimum allowable voltage (150…210 V, factory setting 160 V)
(P4) –
Minimum allowable current (1…20 A, factory setting 0 A)
(P5) –
Response delay to error (0…850 s, factory setting 2 s)
(P6) –
Duration of automatic reset after power failure (OFF…850 s, factory setting OFF)
(P7) –
Current multiplier for the start interval (1…10, factory setting 3) (P8) –
Duration of the start interval (0…850 s, factory setting 10 s)
(P9) –
Number of automatic resets of the current error, after which the device goes to
emergency mode and requires operator intervention (OFF....200, factory setting OFF)
(P10) –
Response delay time of the upper sensor (longer delay means that the pump
turns on less often, which extends its lifespan) (0....850 min, factory
setting 0 with min)
(P11) –
Indicates whether the electrodes are submerged in water: if the value is less than
230, there is water (the red display indicates the upper electrode, the yellow display
indicates the lower electrode)
(P12) –
Programs the memory of the last state of the regulator before shutdown. (0...1, factory
setting 1)
After
initial connection to the power supply of the device waits 4 seconds, then analyzes
network parameters and their compliance with the set parameters, checks whether there is in the
well water, whether there is space in the storage tank, and if the regulator is in mode
"START" (the green indicator "START" lights up), switches the control contacts and lights
upper green indicator "pump". The displays will show the current values
voltage and current.
Mode
"START": To enter this mode, press the START button.
Mode
"STOP": To enter this mode, press the STOP button. In this mode
the device does not perform any regulation and will not start the pump. Please note
also, if you plan to use a level relay without a float sensor and
of the remote switch, ensure that you are on the terminals 'ON-OFF' and 'FLATOR'
you have placed the jumpers; otherwise, the regulator will not function or will function
incorrectly.
Important!!!
Please read this section before connecting the device:
-
The submersible pump regulator must be connected according to the wiring diagram
as stated in the product data sheet.
-
Ensure that the liquid to be pumped is not flammable or
explosive.
-
The temperature at the installation site of the regulator must be above 0 °C.
- Never
do not connect voltage to the inputs of the regulator for connecting the float sensor.
|
- Ensure that the pump body is grounded, otherwise Damage to the pump regulator may occur.
