Using the device and the principle of operation

Connect the device according to the wiring diagram. After to complete the connection, apply power. After turning on, the display shows the set the values for 5 seconds.

• To set the overcurrent value, use regulátor „A>“. Nastavená hodnota se zobrazuje na levém displeji.
• To set the delay time, use the “t” regulator. The set the value is also displayed on the left display.

When the device is powered, the relay will to trip, the output contact will switch to terminal 3 and the OUT indicator will light up. If the current exceeds the set overcurrent value (A>), the device will start count down the delay time and the ERR indicator will light up. After the elapsed the relay time expires, the contact switches to terminal 1 and the OUT indicator goes out.

Electronic current relay series TRM-12 is designed for the automatic disconnection of appliances when the maximum permissible current, with a programmable switching range, setting the time switching and the time of reactivation.
Additionally, there are 3 modes available for returning to the “operational” state — MANUAL, SEMIAUTOMATIC, AUTOMATIC.

Reset Modes:

• Manual mode: After an overcurrent error, it is it is necessary to reset the device by pressing the Reset button. In this mode the corresponding LED indicator lights up.
• Semiautomatic mode: The device automatically resets the system three times an overcurrent error occurs, then waits for a manual reset on the next error. In this mode, the corresponding LED indicator blinks.
• Automatic mode: The device automatically resets the system with each an overcurrent error. In this mode, the corresponding LED indicator blinks.

Note: To change the mode, hold the SELECT button for 10 seconds. After The corresponding LED indicator will light up when the mode changes.

Asymmetry 50% (fixed)

If the difference between the largest and smallest phase current exceeds 50%, the device will enter asymmetry error mode within 2 seconds.
(During motor operation, this prevents damage to the system in the event of a phase failure.)

In case of asymmetry error:
• The group of displays of the two phases that caused the fault will start to blink and the indicator ERR will light up.
• If the current is less than 2 A, the device does not monitor asymmetry.
• To return from the asymmetry error mode, the device must be reset manually.
