Use of the device and principle of operation

1. Connect the device according to the attached the wiring diagram.
2. After completing the wiring, connect the power. After when turned on, the display shows the set values for 5 seconds.
3. To set the value for overload use the regulator "A>". The set value is displayed on left display.
4. To set the delay time use the regulator "t". The set value is also displayed on the left display.

When the device is turned on:

• The relay activates, the output contact switches to terminal 3 and the OUT indicator lights up.
• If the current exceeds the set value overload (A>), the device counts down the delay time and lights up indicator ERR.
• After the time has elapsed, the relay turns off, the contact switches to terminal 1 and the OUT indicator goes out.

The TRM-50 series electronic current relay is designed to automatically disconnect consumers when exceeding the maximum permissible currents. It has a programmable start range, the option to set the start time and back on. There are 3 return modes to "operational" state – MANUAL, SEMI-AUTOMATIC, AUTOMATIC.

Reset Modes

• Manual mode: To reset the device after overload press the Reset button. The corresponding LED will light up.
• Semi-automatic mode: The device allows automatic system reset three times upon overload occurrence and then waits for manual reset on the next error. The corresponding LED will light up.
• Automatic mode: The device allows automatic system reset on every overload error. The the corresponding LED.

Note: To change the mode, hold the SELECT button for 10 seconds. After the mode change, the corresponding LED will light up.

Current asymmetry 50% (fixed)

If the difference between the highest and lowest current If the asymmetry exceeds 50% during 2 seconds (prevents system damage in case of loss of one phase).

In case of an asymmetry error:

• Group of displays of two phases that caused a fault, it will start blinking and the ERR indicator will light up.
• To exit the asymmetry error mode, it is manual reset required.
