Three-phase current relay for monitoring / limiting the load current in a range of 90–200 A, manufacturer TENSE (Turkey)

Digital overcurrent relay TRM-200 is designed to protect the load from damage caused by high currents and at the same time allow monitoring of the operation.

Use of the device and principle of operation

1. Connect the device according to the wiring diagram.
2. After completing the wiring, supply power. After when turned on, the display will show the set values for 5 seconds.
3. To set the value for overcurrent use the regulator "A>". The set value is displayed on on the left display.
4. To set the delay time use the regulator "t". The set value is also displayed on the left the display.

When the device is turned on:
• The relay will activate, the output contact will switch to terminal 3 and will light up the OUT indicator.
• If the current exceeds the set overcurrent value (A>), the device will start count down the delay time and the ERR indicator will light up.
• After the set time has elapsed, the relay will turn off, the contact will switch to terminal 1 and the OUT indicator will turn off.

Description

The TRM-200 series electronic current relay is designed for automatic disconnection of devices when exceeding the maximum permissible current.
It has a programmable switching range, the ability to set delay time and current for reactivation.
Available there are 3 modes to return to operational state — MANUAL, SEMI-AUTOMATIC, AUTOMATIC.

Reset Modes:

• Manual mode: After an overcurrent fault, it is necessary to reset the device by pressing the Reset button. In this mode, it lights up the corresponding LED indicator.
• Semi-automatic mode: The system automatically resets after an overcurrent fault three times, then waits for a manual reset on the next fault. In this mode, it lights up the corresponding LED indicator.
• Automatic mode: The system automatically resets after each overcurrent fault. In this mode, the corresponding LED indicator lights up.

Note: To change the mode, hold the SELECT button for 10 seconds. After the mode change, the corresponding LED indicator will light up.

Asymmetry 50 % (fixed)

If the difference between the largest and smallest phase if the current exceeds 50 %, the device will enter error mode within 2 seconds of asymmetry.
(This prevents damage to the system in case of a failure during motor operation one of the phases.)

In case of asymmetry error:
• The display group of the two phases that caused the fault will start to blink and the ERR indicator will light up.
• To return from the asymmetry error mode, the device must be reset manually.

Note: Models TRM-50, TRM-100, TRM-200, and TRM-300 can only be used with current transformers that are included in the delivery.
