Use of the device and principle of operation

1. Connect the device according to the wiring diagram.
2. After completing the wiring, supply power. After when turned on, the display will show the set values for 5 seconds.
3. To set the value for overcurrent use the regulator "A>". The set value is displayed on left display.
4. To set the delay time use the regulator "t". The set value is also displayed on the left the display.

When the device is turned on:
• The relay will activate, the output contact will switch to terminal 3 and will light up the OUT indicator.
• If the current exceeds the set overcurrent value (A>), the device will start will count down the delay time and the ERR indicator will light up.
• After the relay time elapses, the contact switches to terminal 1 and the OUT indicator It will light up.

TRM-300 series electronic current relay is designed for the automatic disconnection of devices when exceeding the maximum of permissible current.
It has a programmable switching range, the ability to set the switching time and the time restart.
There are 3 return programs to 'operational' mode — MANUAL, SEMI-AUTOMATIC, AUTOMATIC.

Reset Modes:

• Manual mode: After an overcurrent fault, it is necessary to reset the device by pressing the Reset button. In this mode, the LED lights up the corresponding LED indicator.
• Semi-automatic mode: The system automatically resets after an overcurrent fault three times, then waits for a manual reset on the next fault. In this mode, the LED indicator.
• Automatic mode: The system automatically resets after each overcurrent fault. In this mode, the LED indicator lights up.

Note: To change the mode, hold the SELECT button for 10 seconds. After changing the mode, the corresponding LED indicator will light up.

Asymmetry 50 % (fixed)

If the difference between the largest and smallest phase if the current exceeds 50%, the device will enter error mode within 2 seconds. of asymmetry.
(This prevents damage to the system during motor operation in case of a failure one phase.)

In case of asymmetry error:
• The group of displays of the two phases that caused the fault will start to blink and the ERR indicator will light up.
• To return from the asymmetry error mode, the device must be reset manually.
